Overview
Navidium apps are operated by Navidium Apps for Shopify merchants. This Privacy Policy applies to personal data collected when merchants install and use our Shopify apps, and when people visit our website (www.navidiumapp.com). It describes how we collect, use, disclose, and retain data, and what privacy rights may apply. This page is provided for transparency and does not constitute legal advice.
How We Collect Information
Information Collected Through Shopify APIs
When a merchant installs one of our Shopify apps, we collect data through Shopify APIs that is required to provide app functionality.
- Shop information, including shop name, domain, contact details, and plan details.
- Order, fulfillment, and transaction-related data needed to power app features such as shipping protection, returns, tracking, warranties, upsells, and order editing.
- Limited customer data required for app workflows (for example, name, email, shipping information, order line items, and claim/return details).
- Product and inventory data where needed for app setup, rules, and functionality.
Information Collected Directly from Merchants
- Account and contact details provided during onboarding or support.
- App configuration data, branding settings, and preferences.
- Support communications sent by email, forms, or Re:amaze chat.
- Operational logs and usage data generated when the apps are used.
Information Collected from Merchants' Customers
- Information submitted through merchant-facing experiences such as claim portals, return flows, and tracking pages.
- App-related records needed to process claims, returns, support actions, and order-level workflows requested by the merchant.
- We do not use merchants' customer data for unrelated advertising purposes.
Website Visitors (Navidiumapp.com)
When you visit our website, we collect certain device and usage information, including browser type, IP address, time zone, pages viewed, referral sources, and interactions. We refer to this as Device Information.
We collect Device Information through cookies and log files. You can learn more about cookies at allaboutcookies.org.
We also use Google Analytics on our marketing site to understand site performance and improve content.
How We Use Information
We use the data we collect to provide, operate, secure, and improve Navidium Shopify apps and related website services.
- Deliver app functionality for shipping protection, returns, tracking, warranties, upsells, and order management workflows.
- Process app subscriptions and related billing through Shopify's billing system.
- Provide support, respond to inquiries, and communicate service updates.
- Maintain platform security, detect abuse, and comply with legal requirements.
- Improve navidiumapp.com through aggregated website analytics.
We do not use merchant or customer app data for unrelated purposes, and we do not sell personal data.
"Do Not Track"
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" setting. Because there is no consistent industry standard for responding to these signals, our website does not currently alter data collection behavior solely based on such signals.
Protecting Your Rights
Depending on applicable privacy laws (including GDPR, CPRA, and similar frameworks), individuals may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, and restriction of personal data processing.
If you would like to exercise these rights, please contact us at support@ecompropeller.com. For installed Shopify apps, we also respond to Shopify-required privacy webhooks, including customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact, as applicable.
We are based in the United States. Personal data may be processed or stored in the U.S. or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate, using appropriate safeguards where required by law.
Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including service delivery, support, security, and legal compliance.
- App data is generally retained while the app is installed and for up to 90 days after uninstall for operational cleanup and legal obligations.
- Support records are retained as needed to resolve requests, maintain service quality, and meet legal requirements.
- Website analytics data retention follows Google Analytics configuration and defaults.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
