Branding & Email Notifications
Configure Brand Kit and merchant/customer email templates with merge tags and live preview.
Brand Kit
Claims → Brand Kit controls the sender identity and visual styling across every claim-related email: Merchant Name and Merchant Email, a Logo (PNG/JPG/WebP, max 2.5MB, square recommended), and a Brand Color used as the accent for buttons and highlights. A live preview shows exactly how a sample email block will look.
Send From Your Own Domain
By default, claim emails send from navidiumapp.com on the merchant's behalf. The "Send claim emails
from your own email or domain" section in Brand Kit lets a merchant verify their own email or domain
so those emails send from their own address instead.
Verifying a domain
- Choose what to verify — a whole domain (recommended) or a single address — and enter it (e.g.
mystore.com). - Start verification. Navidium generates 3 DKIM CNAME records and 1 DMARC TXT record to add at the
domain provider (GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Namecheap, etc.). Nothing changes until verification
completes — claim emails keep sending from
navidiumapp.comin the meantime. - Add the records at the domain provider. If the domain already has a
_dmarcrecord, the existing one can be kept and the DMARC row skipped. - DNS propagation can take up to 48–72 hours. Status is checked automatically every few minutes, so the page can be safely left and revisited later.
Once verification completes, the domain shows as Verified. From there, a From name and From
address (an address on the verified domain) can be set, and a toggle turns on sending claim emails
from that address — until the toggle is on, emails keep sending from navidiumapp.com even though
the domain is verified.
If the verified sending address ever becomes unavailable, Navidium automatically falls back to the
default navidiumapp.com sender so customers never miss a claim email. Removing the DNS records after
verification will break sending from the custom domain — leave them in place for as long as custom
sending is enabled.
Email Settings
Claims → Email Settings splits into Merchant-facing and Customer-facing templates covering every stage of the lifecycle: Auto Refund, Auto Reorder, Auto Deny, Claim Review, Manual Refund, Manual Reorder, Manual Deny, and OTP Verification.
Each template has its own editor: an Activate toggle, sender name/email, subject line, a rich-text body
with standard formatting controls, merge tags you can drop into the copy ({{order_number}},
{{items}}, {{refund amount}}, {{Rule Title}}, {{ refund / replacement }}), and a sandboxed live
preview rendering the template with merge tags visible as placeholders.
