Discounts
Configure per-product discounts using percentage or fixed amounts to incentivize upsell acceptance.
Setting discounts
The Discount tab lists every product included in the offer, grouped by upsell (e.g., "Upsell 1 (1 products)"). For each product, you can set:
- Discount Type
- Percentage or a fixed amount off the product's price.
- Discount
- The value to apply — e.g., 10 for 10% off, or a fixed currency amount.
A discount is optional — you can leave it at 0 if you just want to surface the product as a suggestion without a price incentive.
Applying one discount to all products
If your offer includes multiple products and you want them all discounted the same way, check Apply same discount to all products at the top of the section, then set the type and value once. This overrides individual per-product settings and keeps your offer simple to reason about.
Discount amounts you set here apply automatically at checkout when the customer accepts the offer — no separate Shopify discount code is needed.
Once discounts are set, move on to Display Settings to control scheduling and visibility.
